Is it for work or personal stuff?

Both. Most people start with life admin, like a refund or a booking. Then they hand it work: invoices, Slack, email.

What does it cost?

Nod is free. You bring your own AI provider, which bills you directly, and Nod shows what each task cost. You can set a monthly limit. A model on your own computer costs nothing per request.

Do I need n8n?

No. Nod is its own app, made by the team behind n8n. If you use n8n, Nod can run your workflows too.

Which computers?

Mac with macOS 14 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel, and Windows 11 x64. You can also run it on your own server.

Can I message it from my phone?

Yes. Connect Telegram or WhatsApp and message Nod from anywhere. It is the same conversation as in the app.

Does it work when my laptop is closed?

Nod on your computer works while the computer is on and awake. Run it on your own server to keep it working around the clock.

Can it make mistakes?

Yes. It's an n8n Labs experiment, and its safety check is a model's judgement. That's why it asks before anything you didn't ask for, and keeps a record of every sign-in, card use and action in your apps.
